Wandin Valley open day – 3rd March 2013

We had a great time on Sunday at Wandin – Hunter Valley‘s open day! We met lots of lovely brides to be and other wedding vendors and ate way too many sweets from Hello Naomi | cakes cupcakes cookies. Thank you Wandin Valley for inviting us to be a part of this great day once again.

    80th birthday garden party

What a great way to top off 2012 – with this beautiful 80th birthday garden party we set up today. This is the first time we have worked with our amazing florist friends Carla and Ang – expect big things from them soon! The event was styled by Hello Naomi | cakes cupcakes cookies, who also made the cake. Loving summer florals!

    Katrina and Cameron’s wedding – 10th November 2012

Yesterday we had the pleasure of being involved in the wedding of Katrina and Cameron. Katrina is one of the most creative brides we have ever met. So much DIY gorgeousness from the seating “chart” to the ceremony backdrop made from paint sample cards. This is the first time we have supplied our new festoon lights – the perfect finishing touch for a wedding under the stars.

    OPSM summer garden party

Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of working with Megan Morton Stylist on the gorgeous OPSM summer garden party. We had been preparing for this for months and it was exciting to see it all come together – especially the giant wayfarers, giant bow and giant OPSM letters we produced!

The event was catered by our lovely friend Naomi of Hello Naomi – she did an amazing job!

Paper Cranes stand at One Fine Day

We were so honoured to be able to supply props and furniture for the Paper Cranes stand at the One Fine Day wedding fair on the 27th of May. Their stand looked amazing! These guys are the masters when it comes to wedding videography, we were lucky enough to have them shoot our own wedding in April 2011 – video here. Please check them out at www.papercranes.com.au. The photos below are courtesy of Paper Cranes Productions.

    The showroom

Summer at City Hall Bridal Expo – two weeks to go! It’s happening on Sunday the 15th of January at City Hall Newcastle from 10am to 3pm.

Getting ready to exhibit has had us styling and rearranging the items in our showroom with the help of Naomi of Hello Naomi – cake maker and stylist extraordinaire! Naomi has very kindly offered to supply cakes and sweets for our display. Looking forward to meeting gorgeous brides and grooms to be – and hopefully Naomi will let us eat some of her cake! The macarons in the picture are not hers by the way, Naomi’s are waaaay better.
